Clair Moore
After 30 years in the telecommunications industry—including 14 years running her own business—Clair followed her creative instincts into the world of art, beginning with polymer clay before discovering a passion for ceramics when Jane’s Art Center opened and she transitioned into studio life. She first served as Studio Manager at Jane’s for a year, overseeing kiln operations and supporting daily studio activities, then spent a year at The Hub on Canal as Volunteer Coordinator, managing front desk sales and volunteer scheduling. Now entering her third year at Jane’s as Gallery Manager, she remains deeply connected to the arts community while continuing to explore her own creative work. Clair’s favorite ceramic process is wheel throwing, often combined with handbuilding to add detail and character, and she also designs a line of custom 2D and 3D multimedia greeting cards sold at Jane’s. Outside the studio, she works as a licensed Realtor in New Smyrna Beach. A proud single mother of three grown children and a new Glam-Mother to two baby girls—with a boy on the way—Clair brings warmth, energy, and creativity to every role she takes on.
